Chest Tattoos After a Mastectomy
Chest Tattoos After a Mastectomy Surgery
Breast cancer takes a lot from a woman. Very often, they feel less feminine because society has told them that without bests, they are less of a woman. Many don’t want a constant reminder of the surgery they had to save their life. Often, women decide to reclaim their bodies with a beautiful chest tattoo. I, for one, couldn’t wait to get my tattoo and had an artist in mind at the moment of diagnosis. Exactly one year after my surgery I started the process.
3-D Nipple & Areola Tattoos
A 3-D nipple and areola tattoo can be done after breast and nipple reconstruction surgery to treat breast cancer. It can also be done after a preventive mastectomy. You’ll need to wait at least 3 months after your final breast reconstruction procedure to get your tattoo. This will give your skin time to heal. To learn more head to BreastCancer.org
